Climate Fresk: Host an interactive workshop in your company

Would you like to train your employees on the subject of climate change, while at the same time enjoying a moment of shared reflection?

The Climate Fresk is an educational workshop based on a game with 42 cards containing information from the scientific reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The game raises awareness about climate change in a playful and collaborative way.

Faced with the emergency climate situation, everyone must be able to understand climate change, make sense of scientifically-based information, form an opinion, accept the necessary changes to preserve life on the planet, and act quickly.

At Mazars in Slovakia, we are proud that our sustainability experts are the training facilitators certified directly by the Climate Fresk organisation. They will help your teams hold an interactive workshop - either in English, French, or in the Slovak language.

How does it work?

Participants gather around a table in teams of 4 to 7 people.
They become familiar with the cards representing the different components of climate change and work together to connect them in order to highlight the links between causes and effects.
A Fresker (facilitator from Mazars) supervises one or more teams and guides them, using a collective intelligence approach. The Fresker then moderates a group reflection to debrief and explore individual and collective solutions. A broaden reflection beyond climate issues is more than welcome.

The workshop consists of three phases

Reflection

Discover, question, understand, and connect the cards to co-construct.

Creativity

Make connections among the cards, take ownership of the Fresk, and illustrate it in a context of team spirit.

Debrief

Discuss mindfully on how participants feel, what is their point of view, and come up with individual and corporate solutions to broaden reflection beyond climate issues.

A workshop suitable for everyone

The Climate Fresk is suitable for all audiences and all levels of understanding. It addresses both novices and the more aware, who wish to deepen their knowledge on climate issues. So far, more than 1 million people worldwide have already participated in this workshop, and the Fresk is "played" in more than 70 countries.
