Flexible working time and business trips

Changes to the Labour Code with effect from 1 March 2021.

From 1 March 2021, the provision of Section 89 is being specified.

Until 28 February 2021, flexible working time could not be implemented if an employer posted an employee on a business trip. The employer had to set a fixed start and end of the work shift.

However, this provision does not apply when the business trip interferes only with the standard working time or when otherwise agreed by the employer and the employee.

The employer may, upon agreement with employee representatives, specify other cases in which this provision will not apply.
