January 6, 2020: Vladimír Vaňo has taken over the position of Chief Economist of the international audit and advisory company Mazars in Slovakia since February.
As an economist, he has many years of international experience in banking and financial services, media, consulting and digital technology sector.
"I was appealed not only by Mazars´s established position on the Slovak market and its sustainable growth, but also by the courage to deliver services and innovations to clients in a personal way. The Chief economist role contributes to the public debate, as well as to the communication of brand values and expertise," said Vladimír Vaňo.

Vladímír Vaňo is a graduate of the Wirtschaftsuniversitaet Wien and the Carlson School of Management. During the government of Professor Iveta Radičová, he worked as an external advisor to the Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Mikloš. For more than 20 years, he has been working in economic research, especially for international financial and advisory groups. He lectures regularly at international professional conferences and universities.
